Bourbon Barrel Aged Scotch Ale

In late 2022 we acquired some ex-Tennessee bourbon casks, from Brown-Foreman. We filled them with some of our beloved Traders Scotch ale for six months. This is the result. Bright bourbon on the nose with rich complex layers of spice and toffee. Rich, bread-like malty moreishness with an array of caramel and Christmas cake-like characteristics. A wonderful beer to stow away for a few years or drink now. You deserve it.
